Not just music! Exhibition in the Kurt-Weill-Centre / Feininger House “Caspar Neher – Sketches for Stage Works by Weill“ Between 1927 and 1933 Caspar Neher collaborated on several projects with Weill and Brecht. In addition to scenery and costume designs, Neher was responsible for stage projections, as well as writing the libretto for the opera The Pledge. On 21 March 1933 the designer also helped Kurt Weill escape from Nazi Germany. This exhibition presents firstrate copies of drawings by Neher that were created for some of Weill’s stage works.
